Our vision and philosophy

Play the way it was meant to be

The idea behind GrandLine is to be as close to Interlude 1x as possible, enhancing the experience to potentially bring new people to enjoy the game as we do. This is a personal project—created to play Lineage 2 the way I always wanted—which I decided to share with the community.

No more wasting time

I took the freedom to remove mechanics that I believe exist solely for wasting player time. More than just playing, the idea is to have fun and try what you never did before, new classes, with lower punishment but still hard, keep up the grind where it is needed!

Facilitated Classes

Classes are facilitated early on, a few beginner items are given at the start, autofarm will help you be able to grind while eating and taking your time, meaning a new player won't waste weeks trying different paths just to discover their actual gameplay after level 40. You can experiment without losing all your effort. Still, all classes will be needed, highly relevant, and beautifully diversified along the way.

Chronicle: Interlude (Original Client 756)
Platform: aCis (Highly optimized and stable)

Quality of Life (QoL) Additions:

  • Smooth Beginning: Start your journey with a chest containing 15,000 No-Grade Soulshots.
  • Auto-Loot: Enabled for regular monsters (Manual for Raid Bosses).
  • Auto-Learn Skills: Enabled up to level 80. Forgotten Scrolls ARE required.
  • Class Transfer: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd class transfers are Free and instant via NPC.
  • Offline Shop: Set up your private store and simply close the game.
  • Box Limit: Maximum 2 clients per PC (Only 1 allowed on Autofarm). Do not increase with premium, so far the server doesn't even have a premium.

Classes & Buffs Adjustments:

  • Dances and Songs (25 minutes): Making it necessary to have them in parties and making it viable to sell buffs, improving the solo player experience and reducing the back-and-forth trips to town.
  • Standard Buffs (1 hour): Long enough to enjoy your grind.
  • Class Buffs (5 minutes): Specific self-buffs like "Duelist Spirit" increased from 60 seconds to 5 minutes.
  • Adjusted Mana Potions: Amount restored is based on your level (10-second reuse), making mage farming possible while keeping SE/EE classes strictly necessary.
  • Community Board (ALT+B): Fully functional with basic buffs for players and pets. (Note: Original client does not recognize ALT+clicks to remove buffs - buff wisely!)

Alternative Solution for higher rates

It will be available - after tests - a bundle in which you can gather together and investi in a 24h higher rates for everyone in the server. Check the video when it is implemented at the base of the site!

Tired of clicking thousands of times? The Auto-Enchant interface allows you to select your target enchant level, the type of scrolls you want to use, and let the system do the hard work for you. Safe, incredibly fast, and carpal-tunnel free!

Remember: Our exclusive Gear Mastery System rewards you just for hunting! Even if you break your gear, you can build it back up through dedication or the normal enchants!

Auto-Skills & Self-Buffs

Auto Skill Bar
Auto Self Buff
Right-click your skills on the shortcut bar to toggle auto-casting. The interface also has implemented a dedicated Auto-Self Buff system interface Button
You can configure your character to automatically maintain specific dances, songs, and self-buffs while hunting.

Retaliation Autofarm

Autofarm Interface
Simple autofarm made from scratch, meant to make repetitive actions easier, but not replacing a real player! Added a function that you can toggle on to Retaliate, which means if your CP drops, you are going to attack the player back until he falls. Allows you to grind places and save the spot without being taken down—if you are strong enough. Works for summoners and spoils. Range is fixed at 1700.

PK Hunter System

Server Rankings
Player Killers (PKs) are part of the game, but now justice is too. If you manage to slay a red-named PK player, it will count points in the PK Hunter Rank (Top PKH). Cool to know how many PKs you've slain, huh?! Become a recognized bounty hunter, save low-level players, and soon earn exclusive cosmetic auras and titles for keeping the realm safe.

Gear Mastery System

Gear Mastery
Your gear evolves with you. The more you use a specific weapon or armor set in PvE and PvP combat, the more "Mastery Experience" it gains. Over time, your gear can naturally upgrade itself up to +6 without the need for scrolls! Failed a +7 enchant and lost your weapon? Don't worry, start over or use the basic enchants as usual. Dedication is always rewarded here.

Additional Changes

Augments: Wild Magic Passive has been removed to ensure fair balance between classes. Don't worry, the Wild Magic Active is still out there to be found!

Marriage System: Fully enabled! Same-gender marriage is allowed as well—who cares! You can get married through the GM shop or try to find the quest to receive the tuxedo or the dress (which I honestly don’t know).
OLYMPIAD
Anti-rig system and fair play
We are making Oly's great again! No more feeding points to clan mates to secure a fake Hero status.

Anti-Rig System

  • Clan Protection: The system ensures that matches against members of your own clan or alliance will NOT happen.
  • IP/HWID Check: Strict limitations to prevent players from registering multiple boxes into the Olympiad queue.
  • Feeding = Ban: ACCOUNTS (not just characters) that enter the Olympiad solely to feed points will be banned. "And when I developed I dont remember if the Ban is on the account or on the IP, so, take care and play fair!"

Cycle & Settings

  • Olympiad cycle runs for 1 month (Retail standard).
  • Heroes are announced on the 1st day of every month.
  • Auto-Cap +6: The Olympiad enchant limit is capped at +6. But don't worry about having a secondary weapon! The cap is automatic. If you enter with a +12 weapon, its stats will safely scale down to +6 during the fight and return to normal once the match is over.
Dion Guardian

The Dion Guardian is Watching

He is automatically willing to swing the Ban Hammer! If someone tries to bypass the rules or rig the matches making this feature unbearable for others to play as well, the Dion Guardian will automatically catch it and send a report straight to our Discord channel. It has the power to issue automatic bans! Play fair, earn your Hero status, and don't test the Guardian's patience.

  • L2Exp is strictly NO Pay to Win. No gear, scrolls or stats. It is Free to Play, but not Free to Maintain, donate when or if you can.
  • Our donation currency is a beautiful, shiny NON-TRADABLE Coin.
  • These coins are bound to your character. You can exchange them in the game but not with players, even in the same account.
  • The shop will grow up, always with cosmetics OR time-saving items, never game-breaking ones. You can give ideas on Discord about it!
  • I started it and with your help, I can keep it going while I bring more of what can enhance the game, never changing it's core! To be always online with the servers running securely on high-end dedicated machines!

L2Experience is made by a fan and for fans that want a cool place to be, let's do it with absolute transparency. Instead of pushing you to buy donation packs, we will show you exactly how much it costs to keep the GrandLine running smoothly every month (Dedicated Host, DDoS Protection, Web Hosting). Your donations will go directly towards keeping our home online.

Stand out from the crowd! Always wanted to have a different color, but not when reaching a specific number of "+". So now, if you buy a Dark Matter, it goes in that color from +1 to +16! Full progression! Aden awaits what you can do with it! Aura Shop

Progressive Enchant Auras

Choose an Enchant Aura which follows EVERY level of your weapon! The glow starts at +1 and grows each step until +16! AND with Gear Mastery System, it goes until +6 just by using the equipment! (well, killing mobs)!

Zero Pay-to-Win: Auras are 100% cosmetic. They give absolutely no combat advantage, but you're gonna be cool, and looking cool is cool, even cooler keeping the server online to be cooler, longer!
